Presentation Dynamics

Description

Learn how to communicate your ideas to busy decision-makers in the first critical moments of any presentation and win approval. You’ll deliver a presentation, get feedback, revise it, and present it again. Dr. Wallisch gives you personal coaching in this two-day class that includes videotaping your delivery. The course teaches key techniques that arm you with the skills you’ll need to prepare a winning presentation every time, less the jitters.

How to Prepare

Please bring a presentation of no longer than 10 minutes to class, with visuals.  You can present with overhead transparencies or PowerPoint.  Before you get to the session think about the audiences you present to, your messages, and the personal communication skills you’d like to improve.

Objective

The course aims to make you a better presenter. You’ll learn how to sharpen your skills, express yourself clearly, and get your ideas accepted.

You’ll focus on these five key techniques:

  • Analyze the subject, audience, occasion, and place

  • Organize your presentation around your main point
  • Design visuals that will reinforce your message
  • Deliver with a clear, animated, and conversational style
  • Persuade your audience to approve your recommendations
